IA is filled for getting any interim relief/order in any court whether there is any criminal or civil proceedings initiated. The court first decides the IA filled for any relief before proceeding in the case finally.
Dear Client, Filing an Interim Application (IA) in court is a procedure used to seek immediate relief or interim orders during the pendency of a main case. This process is governed by various procedural laws depending on the type of case, such as the Civil Procedure Code (CPC) for civil cases or the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) for criminal cases. The IA must be drafted clearly, specifying the relief sought. File the IA with the court where the main case is pending. Submit the IA along with the main case file if the IA is being filed in an ongoing case. Pay the required court fees for filing the IA, as prescribed by the relevant court rules. By obtaining an attachment or freezing order, you secure the accused’s assets, making it easier to recover the money if the court rules in your favour. Interim orders help prevent the accused from evading justice by disposing of or hiding assets.
