Bank Loan settlement

Question

Lost job in Dubai and came back to India in December 2019 but could not settle the credit card payments there amounting to AED 51,000. The bank agent came to meet me in India and subsequently connected to the bank to speak to them. It offered a small settlement discount if I pay it in full before 20th May.  Since I don't have a job now and cannot go back to Dubai for another job during this Covid period, I am much concerned and worried if they will take up legal action in India for the recovery process.  Please advise if they can do so in India and what am I supposed to do in this case at t his bad period.

they can sue you in India as well in Dubai as per the latest treaty between the two nations,
