Hi, actually my brother taken the amount with his friends but transaction happened through my account ,so they have raised a complaint in Bangalore and police came to my home with NCR and they have taken me to Bangalore and taken the checks of mine. Police didnt listen my words and asking me to write anything to them and go from here. because of that force i have given the checks to them.

As per Negotiable Instrument Act Cheque Holder in due course can claim his dues even though you did not do any business with him. Why in first place handover Cheque to him is the question. In case your brother issued your cheque without your knowledge you should pay the holder in due course and recover from your brother.
