My mother made a fixed deposit in SBI in the name of "Renu Bala Sinha" in the year 1992. She now wants to withdraw that amount but her name in all the identity proof is "Renu Sinha". She made all identity proof documents after 2011. So there is a name difference in identity proof and Fixed deposit. But the bank is refusing to repay that Fixed deposit. Is there any way to get that amount from the bank. Please help me with this.

Not that much a serious matter. Bank can ask for certain other documents for ascertaining the identity of your mother. Bank can ask for a duly sworn and attested Affidavit, Indemnity Bond. But if the Bank does not agree, then finally you have to get a declaration from the civil court to this effect. that will solve the matter. If you are nice then the bankers can release by taking Indemnity bond. Approach Civil Court for a direction as your mother known by both names. Please give me Rank 5 and Review my Resume and Follow me if my answer satisfies you
