I think if your happening is not less than one month old than first you should file FIR in your jurisdiction police station. Than you can file a complaint petition against that person in the court of law along with the FIR copy pledging for your damages and praying for suitable compensation. Thanks. Please review my profile if you feel my suggestion suffices your requirement. You can even consult me personally for any further assistance. Good Luck.

You can file a lawsuit for damages and compensation or even you can file a case in the Consumer forum. Its good case subject to other legal compliances while fighting it. You are entitled for damages if you will be able to prove in accordance with Law in the Court.
