Dear Client, To expedite your case filed under Section 156(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), you can file an application in the court where your case is currently pending, requesting an expedited hearing. If there's significant delay and no action from the lower courts, you can file a writ petition in the High Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Request a direction for the lower court to expedite the hearing and disposal of your case. You can also consider Filing a Right to Information (RTI) application to the Public Information Officer (PIO) of the concerned court requesting information about the status and reasons for the delay in your case. Request your lawyer to follow up regularly with the court registry to get updates and push for a hearing date. If there’s undue delay without a valid reason, you can lodge a complaint with the Registrar of the concerned court. Should you require any further clarification please do not hesitate to contact us.
