Dear Sir, It is purely a civil case and you must file a civil suit on the basis of documents you have. Though it reflects cheating but Police have no time to investigate in such matters you may otherwise convert it into private complaint and convince the Court to issue summons against said person.

Dear client, I understand this is a frustrating situation. Here are some steps you can take despite the initial setbacks: Contact the Magistrate: Since the court issued an order and the police haven't acted, you can file a complaint with the magistrate directly. Explain the situation and request the court to direct the police to take action on the order. Approach Senior Police Officer: Visit the Superintendent of Police (SP) or a higher-ranking officer in your district. Explain the situation and show them the court order. This can put pressure on the local police station to comply. Consider a New Lawyer: While your current lawyer may feel helpless, a second opinion can be valuable. Consult another lawyer specializing in criminal law. They might have a different approach or identify missed steps. File a Complaint Against Inaction: You can file a complaint against the Investigating Officer (IO) for not following the court order. This complaint can be submitted to the Police Complaints Authority or the State Human Rights Commission. Public Pressure (with Caution): As a last resort, consider bringing public attention to the case. This could involve contacting local media or public representatives. However, proceed with caution to avoid jeopardizing the case.
