Dear client, If your resignation mail had been acknowledged then in that case you need not to send signed copy of your mail. However to be on safer side you can do that.
If they have already acknowledged your resignation via mail then you need not provide them with the hard copy. The mail is enough to maintain the proof of your resignation. Just keep their acknowledgement in safe custody. For more legal assistance I am a call away.
