Hi, You should issue a public notice in both English and Hindi regional vernacular newspaper of that area stating that you are retiring yourself from the partnership and in future if something happens, you shall not be liable You can also file a complaint against the partner missing and stolen cheques. Your liability will be there if he uses the cheque and it get bounced as you have signed it. You can also close the bank account and can also make amendments in partnership as partner is missing.
