I am from Delhi. Took a personal loan from bank. Defaulted on EMI (4 EMIs pending at present). Bank deposited and bounced security check. Did not send me any notice. Cased filed in Ahmedabad Add CMM court in Apr 2018 (at that time only 2 EMIs pending). I did not know about the case. Bank sent their recovery agents to my home, and I again started paying EMI from May 2018 onwards. I've received no notice from bank before filing of case and no summons either from bank or court till date. was talking to Bank Recovery officer last month, slipped from his mouth abruptly. After asking many times, they provided me with case no. and next hearing date only. Checked online Case Status: Process to Accused, next hearing date Sept 25. What are my options. Can I send an application to court via post requesting next date for personal appearance. Bank officials asking to deposit 2 EMIs from pending and saying they will take next date. Shall I believe them. Shall I take anticipatory bail. Any other option. Regards
