Hi I have taken a personal loan from lending kart worth 3l under 9 installments I have paid 8 installments but last installment is due because of my current financial condition I ask them to pay remaining balance in small installments but they fill court case in Ahmadabad and I live in Delhi . I will only able pay that balance in fix small chunks can you give me advice how to proceed

Hope cheque dishonour case not made out.. refer it to Lok Adalah and settle the matter at the earliest..

They cant proceed against you without complying with the mandatory requirements of S.138 under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Once they have served you with a notice, then you need to file a reply or get yourself represented by an advocate.
