Engage a lawyer and ask him to draft a legal notice and sent it to that person.

The first step is to send a cheque bounce legal notice to the drawer of the cheque to make payment within 15 days after receipt of notice by the drawer. The drawer can ask time so that he may deposit the amount in the bank. After such time if drawer fails to deposit the amount in bank, the drawee may initiate complaint procedure. The payee can file the complaint in the court of judicial magistrate of first class. The complaint has to be accompanied with an affidavit by the complainant. The submitted documents and complaint will be examined by the Magistrate in order to confirm commission of offence. Once commission is made confirmed, then summons will be issued for hearing. After hearing the matter from both sides the Magistrate passes the final judgement.
