    Dear Sir, If mother has not executed any document other than cheque issued by her son then son only liable.     Dear Ajit As per Negotiable Instrument Act provisions, any person who draws a cheque in respect of any debt or other liability and the same cheque is bounced at the time of its presentment the person who had issued the cheque is liable to be punished. If a cheque is issued by you and in case the same is bounced in future you may be liable to be prosecuted as per N.I. Act provisions. For any legal aid consult me.
