since the validity period of the cheque is over, then the only option is to file a summary suit for the recovery of the amount under order 37 CPC, 1. you can serve him a legal notice through a lawyer to make payment of the outstanding amount along with the interest, 2. if payment is not made despite service of the legal notice, you can file a civil suit for the recovery of the amount, 3. chat, call records, Cheque itself, WhatsApp record, if relevant, can prove your case and are admissible as an evidence

If the Cheques are with in expiry period you can represent it.
The validity period of any cheque is three months only It should not be counted in terms of number of days See the following examples: Cheque dated: *Phone*is vaild upto*Phone*and it cannot be encashed on*Phone*Number of days involved : 31 + 28 + 31 = 90)

Sandeep you should have filed Cheque bounce case under Negotiable Instrument Act within 15 days by issuing Legal Notice. if time is barred by Limitation then you have time to file Money recovery case
