Can anyone take your picture or video without your permission in India. Do they have the right to upload it on social media. Is there any value in India for the loss of dignity caused by it.

Hi, It is not permissible in India. You can sue the person for stalking under IPC and under section 67 of IT Act. According to this if anyone uses electronic means to publish any picture or video which is capable of defamation is considered as crime. If you find it helpful, kindly rate my answer. Thank You
