Can I Travel Abroad If A FIR Is Filed On Me? Yet To Get Court Notice.

I was involved in an accident recently. I was travelling by a car and a two-wheeler was trying to cross a junction. My car and the two-wheeler collided. The 2-wheeler driver had some injuries and got discharged from the hospital 2 days later. The bike person's family filed an FIR on me in Police station. I'm yet to get a court notice. As part of office work, I may have to travel abroad soon. Can I travel ? If the court notice comes while I'm abroad, please let me know what should I be doing?
