Your wife hired lawyer that means either you are already accused or going to be accused soon. So if you become accused, you should be resigning from job immediately and then you can ask that lawyer that he can not fight any case. Also that lawyer is not fighting against you. Your wife is fighting. The lawyer is only representing your wife in her case.
