1. Our CHS has less than 250 members.
2. At general election election the election authority formed 6 member MC elected out of 8 members belonging to general category. No woman members stood for election.
3. CHS do not have members belonging to other remaining reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).
4. The new 6 member MC has thereafter coopted 2 woman members, increasing the strength of MC to 8.
4. One of the office bearer resigned from MC, reducing the MC size to 7.
Query:
1. Since filing up the post of office bearer is mandatory, can one of the coopted member be offered the post of office bearer or only one out of remaining 3 elected members are eligible to become office bearer?
2. What are the options available (holding election under supervision of aithoroties or by mmembers' resolution at SGM), if the MC want to further increase the size of MC (say to 10)?
