Few months back, I lent money to a friend of Rs 5000 without promissory note. After a month, I have asked him to return money to which he replied saying that he has not got the salary and after receiving the salary he would pay me back. A few days after that when I messaged him again, he said that he does not have money in his account to which he has shown Paytm snapshots which I don't believe since he owns an Iphone. How should I go about this? Evidences I have :- 1. Electronic transmission of money sent to him via GPay. 2. Whatsapp conversation regarding asking money and the responses that he would pay later.
