I own a house in the district of Murshidabad, West Bengal. For the last 20 years, I have a tenant staying in this house and I have come into term to sell that house to that tenant. Now adjacent to my house their lives my maternal uncle. Now I just wanted to know that am I allowed to sell my house to anyone with my wish or is there any law in India that we have to give the priority to neighbours and ask whether they would like to buy. Kindly answer my question, your help and cooperation will be appreciated.
