    Dear client you can issue a legal notice to them through a lawyer under section 295a. Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code lays down the punishment for the deliberate and malicious acts. Moreover, you can also add a provision for negligence.

    Yes...you can always serve them a legal notice regarding your grievances and in that notice you can write that either compensate me or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if they fail to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime file an complaint before the police station according to your jurisdiction to punish them according to law because it is not a small issue and needs immediate punishment.
