An FIR has been lodged on my name for a car accident case with IPC 279, 337. The opposite party (2 wheeler party) was injured with a hairline fracture. I have been arrested and bailed as a formality in the police station. The police told me that after a month they will produce me in front of a magistrate where I have to pay some fine and then they will close the case. I have a few questions on these. 1. What is the severity of the case. 2. Does only the one who got injured has the authority to file an FIR. 3. Once I pay the fine, the case will be closed. 4. After the case is closed - will it affect my career in the future.
