Property In Possession For Last 38 Years

We bought a land from a person X in 1982. Person X was in possession of the land from 1950 and not the actual owner. We pointed of this as X is not the owner and only in possession, X agreed to bring in the owner Y, during registration in 1982 and have him as a Identifying witness and witness in 3 different registration documents of entire property. We are in possession of the property from then on uninterrupted. In 2010 Y has registered the land we possess to others and tried to enter into our property. We had filed a case on this as we have adverse position of the property and the person from whom we bought also had adverse position during the purchase , and also the original owner has signed as identifying witness and witness for the purchase of the land. After 9 years and all hearings and evidences, all which were in our favour, the case is dismisse by the court authorizing the sale of Y in 2010. Please suggest how we should proceed here.
