Received A Legal Notice From Previous Employer Alleging Breach Of Non Compete

I have received a legal notice from the previous employer alleging breach of non-compete/disclosure agreement. The agreement says I will be in breach of contract if I join any competing firm in a period of 2 years from cessation of employment. Almost after a year leaving the previous employer I have joined another firm which is in the same space as my previous employer. A couple of months back my previous employer came to know about this current role of mine with a competing firm via LinkedIn and since then they (previous employer) have sent me a couple of emails asking to leave the current employer given I am in breach of contract but I have not replied back to those emails. So now they have sent a notice via High Court lawyer asking me to leave the job and pay Rs 10lac for the damage caused by sharing of valuable information of the previous employer with the current employer. I would appreciate if you could please guide me on this matter.
