My question is regarding the special power of attorney. I'm Hindu by religion. There is a property which is owned by my family and it has ongoing case. so all I want to ask is if I give someone else special power of attorney regarding this property then will I be taken granted for any faujdari related to it if that happens? or it will be a responsibility of a person whom we will give power of attorney regarding this property. How much is my involvement in any matter or paperwork related to this property after giving Power of attorney to someone else. and one more thing. Can I give someone else power of attorney while the property is involved in ongoing case?

Hi, The person with power of attorney will assume responsibility for that property in case you are absent or unable to tend to the matter yourself. They can represent you for civil matters but in case of criminal proceedings, you will have to be present yourself. If you found this helpful, please rate us.

You can appoint any person of confidence as special Power of Attorney holder for contesting case on your own behalf in Civil litigation only. But for any Criminal Proceedings you have to take care of the cases yourself.
