My builder wants to enter into a new Sale agreement (little tweaked) but as per the new RERA format and a construction agreement (which is the total opposite of RERA rules). He has our deposit amount of Rs. 6lakhs and he is telling that if we cancel the villa then he will refund the amount after 60days of RESELLING the villa to another person. What should I do if we cancel? Since we find something is fishy and not sure whether to continue or not.

Make a cancel deed dully signed and registered with refund plus the interest amount.. Take a cheque for the requisite amount from the builder. If the builder is not agreed then file a complaint with RERA tirbunal
