Actual CFS charges according to their tariff are 15,000 but they demanded 1,80,000/- then negotiated to 1,50,000/- and then to 1,06,000/- finally. this is a regular case and not a pandemic case. It's just like hijacking a shipment and demanding extortion money. Please advise how and where to fight against it. Is it a consumer court case or crime case for hijacking the shipment and demanding illegal charges extortion

Hello Sir You could file a criminal complaint in the police station against the person for demanding unreasonable money through extortion. You could also file a civil suit against the person for demanding higher charges then the prescribed one. Thanks Please rate if you find this advice helpful
