    Mr. Sharma, It is advisable for you to : 1) Write a letter to the airlines alongwith letter to DGCA as even the Supreme Court has asked either to refund in the original source or give credit shell for 2 years 2) If they fail to refund, issue them a legal notice granting them 15 days time to refund 3) In case they fail to refund within 15 days, file a complaint before the district consumer forum Best,

    If your verbal requests have not able to wake him. The get a legal notice served upon the travelling agent. The file a complaint under consumer Protection Act.2019 which has come into force on 20th July, 2020. It is more stringent and will get your matter resolved with damages, Costs of litigation and interest on the amount paid to travelling agent.     You may ask the travel agent, through email or notice, for return of the money along with interest on account of cancellation of the flight and thereafter if you do not get the return of money you may file a case in the consumer court and make a complaint to the police also.
