So the other day I bought a phone worth 12,999 in Flipkart in Big billion days. There is 10% instant discount on SBI debit cards. I bought through my dad's SBI debit card which is saved in my Flipkart account. Now the card is an SBI debit card but the payment was done through Phonepe gateway which is not in our hands. So I didn't get a discount. When I called customer care they told me that as payment was done through phonpe you are not eligible for a discount. I cancelled the order, so I am getting my money back but the issue here is how many people will do that. After that, I replaced an order with the same debit card but now I entered the card number manually, now I got discount. How wrong is this? Can I file a complaint against Flipkart doing this kind of things, if yes, what solid points can I have to defend myself

Dear client, Send them notice through lawyer and file complain in consumer court and claim heavy compensation.

You may approach the Consumer Court or Permanent Lok Adalat but the issue has got to be taken up at higher level as the issue involved is related to the General Public and not an individual. Better it would be if you opt for filing a Public Interest Litigation seeking dorection from High Court to the Flipkart people for undertaking such transactions.
