Threaten him to lodge police complaint saying your car is stolen.

If you have acknowledgement of the sale, send the same to the concerned RTA office of your area and also mark a copy to your area's police station apart from giving public notice in local news paper one in vernacular and another in English Language informing the Public At Large about the sale.
