Arijit , Due to Pandemic Government had issued Guidelines to run many establishment . Due which Companies were only following Standard Operating procedures. Compensation can been Negotiated with them for extending your subscription membership . But you will not get any relief other than that. Even if you file any legal Proceedings against the Company. They will invoke Froces Majeure Clause. Apporach any Advocates in this Forum for your relief.
There are no clear guidelines as yet. But You initiate the process by servings a Legal Notice upon the management of the institution asking for the refund or adjustment. 1. you can serve him a legal notice through a lawyer to make payment of the outstanding amount along with the interest, or, to extend the tenure if the membership 2. if payment is not made despite service of the legal notice, you can file a civil suit for the recovery of the amount,
You can have a rights to take a refund as there is not service provided by the party. In case if the party refused for payment of the service then you have to file complaint with consumer forum
when you did not take the service then you can claim for refund or adjustment
