IIM Rohtak has released its first shortlist. They are asking for 1 lacs to secure the seat and only cancellations are done before 4th May will be refunded 80k, others will lose the whole amount. The original admission policy and UGC policy states that cancellation can be done before the session starts (usually in June) and the amount will be refunded minus some charges. This is done as students wait for other colleges' results as well. Till Friday, the college was of the stand that no money will be refunded. After mails, they u turned and set the date as 4th May, can an institute do that.
