I have a very old book (over 120 years) in my custody without a title page. The book may or may not have been copyrighted but the author and printing press both are from India. My queries below: 1) Can I get it copyrighted on my name if it wasn't copyrighted previously. How do I check if the copyright was done or not. 2) If previously copyrighted which most probably have expired by now then Can I re-publish it and get it copyrighted on my name. If yes, what is the process. 3) What are the safeguards recommended if I want to sell it to agencies. 4) Is there any other certificate/compliance apart from copyright which I can claim.

Since yours is a very complex question because normally the duration of normal copyright is half century Unless renewed. Better it would be to get a research initiated for the determination.
