On 21/04/2018 my brother and my uncle's sons and their wives indulged in a conflict over a real estate construction. My brother approached me over a telephone call to come over to Dalkhola from Mumbai with the intent to incur physical, mental, and reputational injury to my uncle's sons and to their family. I refused my brother's proposal. My brother became angry with me. He started torturing my mother to create pressure on me. He has physically beaten my mother to get the property documents. The police took a GD and called my brother for 'counseling' purposes only. The police released him on his assurance that he would not torture my mother in the future. My mother went to my elder sister's house to stay. In 2021 Jan, my brother went to Siliguri to bring back my mother on fake assurance. He has, again, started abusing and torturing my mother to sell the property. Police is no longer interested in taking action against my brother unless he commits a crime. Depending on the abuse and torture you can file a case of domestic violence as well as under IPC criminal case can be lodged against your brother provided your mother intends to support you. If the police is not registering your case then you can contact me and I will help you get the case registered following due process of law. Second you should file a case of injunction against your brother to prevent him from selling or forcing your mother to sell the property.
