I used to work in a finance company, Because of my mistake, few cheques bounced including mine. Was suspended, last week had a disciplinary meeting, was called. The senior boss started using abuses. I lost my temper and hit him with a steel bottle in the head. Injured him a bit. Now they are planning to arrest me. I consulted a lawyer. Said trying to find PC or JC, what is that. Presently not staying in home/switch off the phone. If I get arrested, how long can they keep me or time taken to be released. They have 4 witness and CCTV of me attacking my boss. Very worried, staying in friends place. If I am arrested, will they handcuff me? Also, what shall I be prepared to do in case of worst? In which jail or police station will they keep me. Tried to contact them to drop charges but they are not willing to negotiate. Please advise.
