Me and my wife has adopted one daughter from some known in the year 2017. We did one agreement with them through a lawyer and get the notary done. One year ago, we came to know that our daughter is neither speaking and nor listening properly. Since then my wife is not giving much attention to our child. In the last one year, around four to five times, she left our home and daughter, living somewhere else without saying anything to us. In this situation, we have faced extreme difficulty to take care of our daughter. My wife is working with a media organization on a contract basis. She used to threaten us if we take action in this regard, she will misuse her position/ laws in favour of ladies and put me and my parent behind the bars. She is habitual in creating dramas and calling POLICE time to time. I am living with my aged parents. They are Senior Citizens. Please, help us. What should we do in this situation

you have also a lot of options you can make complaint on behalf of cruelty against child a complaint can be filed against her regarding domestic violence you can also file a case for divorce

Yours is a multifarious problem. Future of the Child is indeed very dark. But now it is your responsibility to take care of her. It is very essential that what are the contents of the document You had got executed while adopting the child. That document can clear the situation. You can take help of the child care and report the matter to the authorities concerned for the welfare of child.
