A month ago I was under home quarantine for 10 days for being a secondary contact of the covid infected person. To be very honest, Although I have never left my home during the quarantine period, I am filed with an FIR for Geo fencing breach (Under epidemic diseases act) without any notice/warning, stating that I have violated the rules of Home Quarantine. I have requested more details on where and when the act pf violation was registered. My concern is, Since am preparing to attend the civil service exam in the coming years, will this case cause any issue during background verification.

1. its a petty matter having no adverse impact on your career, 2. you can defend the case, 3. since, you have not left your home, resultantly, it will be tough for the prosecution to prove it's version, Good Luck

if any verification then it may be a question as it is violation of government order. Matter is not serious but it matter in civil services as police verification will show a FIR against you

Mr. Shashank,Dont worry too much. most of the Geo Fencing Breach are punished with fine and Warning. if case comes up you plead Guilty and pay the Fine. It's as good as Traffic Violations Offence. It wont effect your Civil Service Exam.
