I filed a case with sections 302/304/120B against four accused of murdering my father in march 2019. No action has been taken by police against them. one of them is an ASI in police and he is using his powers to save all. The testimony of all the witnesses is not recorded. IO and his associates have been bribed heavily to not to take any action. Recently I came to know that the accused ASI is nearing his retirement and he is trying for all possible ways to get a clean chit in the retirement process. First of all, I want to know what steps I can take next to keep the actual investigation ongoing, Second, How can I stop the ASI from getting retirement benefits

Dear Biswajit It is advisable, if proper investigation is not being conducted by the police, that send a written complaint to SP/District Magistrate/DGP/Commissioner of police about police negligence in the matter. You can send a letter to the office of the Minister of home affairs in the state. In addition to this, file an application seeking transfer of investigation to CID of the state in the high court of your state.
