It depends upon the working of the court and volume of work with which the court is burdened. As per procedure the proceeding has to take place "In Camera" and no one else is allowed in the court except the parties, lawyers and staff. cases are decided on top priority. As per procedural laws the trial of rape case should be concluded within 2 months from the date of filing charge sheet by police, but in general it takes more time to be concluded.
