While driving my car, I was stopped by other vans and when I got down, they said that I have caused an accident around 2 km behind in which a bike brushed my car from the right side near the fuel tank. There was a scratch. But I didn't come to know. After that, I called 100 and info about the accident. Also, I went to a nearby police station to record the statement. After that in a PCR van, I went behind to check the accident victim. But I could find neither bike nor indl. I was told by the police to go after they took all my details. After leaving the police station, I went again in my own van and also checked nearby 2 hospitals for any accident victim. But no case had been reported in the last 2-3 hrs. I info the same to the police. When I couldn't find the victim, I left the place. I am sure the accident occurred because scratch marks were new. What should I do? More than 24 hrs have passed. No call came from the police.

- Since there is not complaint before the police by the victim , then no need of worry. - If that victim will go to any hospital for treatment after accident , then before giving medical treatment , information to the police is necessary for the hospital .

The accident, if any, though may have taken place but it would not have been reported to the Police for any reason. You need not to do anything till it reported to the Police.
