I am an ethical hacker and bug bounty hunter. I performed penetration testing on a big cloud hosting company website and found several vulnerabilities which I informed them through the mail. Later I was called back and appreciated for my work asked me to provide my CV for a job in their company. I sent my cv but don't get back any call from them. My question is if there any legal issue I will face in future bcs i did penetration testing without their consent. Can they file a complaint against me under cyber law? Please advise.

Still as such nothing so serious, but there is a slight violation which may disturb you for which you have to be very aware. Take the steps under those situation being preventive measures. Pen testing of any website without the explicit permission of its owner amounts to violation of Section 43(a) read with Section 66 of The IT Act, 2000.
