I joined a company as a project Manager. The company is a 20 member team. I reported to the Directors of company. The company made me work for 16 hours each day and on sundays as well. Two Months Ago, by Jan Last week i had a severe pain in my stomach and on Medical checkup I was diagnosed with Renal stone and Fatty liver. I decided to resign from the company on health grounds and told my manager. He asked me to continue for few days and then he would relieve me. On Feb 12th I sent a written formal communication in email stating i will not be able to continue and requested relieving immediately. I had a discussion with my manager on Feb 13th but manager asked me to stay for few months. On Feb 14th I sent a mail again that I cant continue and after which the Director removed me from all the company access and on 16th the HR sent a letter to my home that i had gone out of the company without serving notice period and from now i am removed from the company, though there was time loss to the company they would not be taking any legal action.
After a Month of my quitting from the company, I got a call from police station of cyber crime that the HR of the company has lodged a complaint against me that I had stolen the laptop of the company and also done some data theft.
The police have summoned me to police station for enquiry. How should I move forward.
