Greetings! You may pursue the civil and criminal action against the person who has taken the amount of 4lakh rupees. Both legal action i.e. the civil suit for recovery and criminal complaint for prosecuting under IPC are available with you. You may take consultation for further legal assistance. Regards.
Dear client I am sorry to hear that but in this case you can go ahead and try to resolve the situation amicabley if it does not work out then you can serve them a note is stating to pay you your money if you does not received any response from them then you can go ahead and file a case or a complaint against them under section 420 IPC.
Issue him notice through lawyer demanding your money and if he refused to pay then File Money RECOVERY SUIT IN COURT through lawyer.
Dear Sir, You may file Private Complaint before the Magistrate Court. It seems you have no evidence except bank transfers that is not sufficient to file civil case for recovery of the said money with interest. He may say that small amount was returned in cash.
First of all rather than going legally you should serve him a legal notice and in that notice you must write that either pay my money or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if he fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime send a complaint regarding your grievances in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction and register a FIR under section 420 IPC and if the police officials are not listening to you then you can always get it registered through court by filing a petition under section 156(3) CrPC. And if you wish to go legal then you can anytime file a recovery suit in the court to claim your amount back along with compensations. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
