- Yes, extra -marital affairs is a ground for getting divorce - Further, if she was minor at the time of divorce , then this marriage is null and void in the eye of law. You can contact me , if further suggestion needed.
Dear sir, Affair is very ambiguous term. As per the law, to file for divorce one of the grounds is adultery. But adultery would only be proved if you are able to show that some sort of sexual relationship exists between your wife and the other man. An affair alone may not convince the court. Regarding divorce on the ground of being minor, only the woman can seek divorce on such ground that too if she had refused for such marriage before she attained the ag of 18. You can invalidate the marriage, if you were forced into it or if there was any misrepresentation or fraud committed. Thank you.
Affair by itself is not enough unless their is sexual intercourse which is proved before the court of law. Minor is the party who can set aside the marriage not the major spouse. But there is condition and time limit there as well
