Husband Humiliating

35F. I am married and have a son who is 8 years old. Since, the beginning husband is very short tempered. Even for minor issues, he gets irritated and treats me very badly. He shouts at me, tries to hit me, etc. I am tolerant these many years considering my Son. So, I am adjusting. Nowadays, husband behavior is getting worsened. He has hit me multiple times in front of my Son. My parents especially my mother says that I should adjust at least for Son's sake and advices me not to argue with him or give some time, etc. Recently, husband's behavior has worsened and my parents are saying adjust. I feel like killing myself but still because of Son I am still alive. I went to my parents and said I want to move away from him. they are saying kid is there. My kid is close to him. Nowadays, he gets angry on him as well occasionally. Please suggest what to do in this situation. I really want to move on. Myself and parents staying in the same building. How should I come out of this?
