How do I sue someone who cheated and traded our money for stocks without consent? A friend of mine who is an options trader traded our money without our consent post us applying for withdrawal after closing trade. The amount we were cheated off is around 6lacs and she is now stating that she obtained losses and can’t pay us back. She compiled our money with some 10 other people into one portfolio and we did not sign any documents with the company she worked for. For proof, we have some emails sent by her office IT team and our conversations on Whatsapp and google pay transaction and a phone call recording. Is there a possibility of taking legal action to claim the capital and returns?
