I was working in a reputed Company since Sept 2019. It was a regular job with PF & other benefits. My probation was for 6 months. It was due to renewed on March 3rd, 2020. When I enquired with HR they said The Boss has to approve. I waited and then there was lockdown which was indefinite. On May 27th I got an email stating that my probation was extended till June 2nd, 2020. When I enquired they said that they wanted to give me more time to improve my performance, but because of the lockdown, they could not. On June 2nd I received a mail that they have closed my position. They said that I have to serve a one month notice, trains were not running, So I said that consider 2nd June as my Last day and I will hand over all belongings like Laptop, keys, mediclaim card etc. I handed over to Hr, No acknowledgment was given as he came outside my building. Now they have withheld my settlement and experience&relieving Letter as I did not remember the password and they are not able to open the Laptop. Please advise

Your case has got to be dealt with very cautiously. It would be better for you to contact the labour conciliation Inspector or labour Commissioner, he get the things settled. And finally you can approach the Labour Court for Redressal of your grievance. You can succeed. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume.
