My last working day at my previous employer was 31-Jan-2020. Till date, I have not received the gratuity settlement. The company finance manager requested me to waive the interest payable citing that I have served for the company for more than 9 years and waive off the interest payable and I have not agreed for the same citing the same reason. He is speaking to me over the phone and not responding to my emails regarding the interest rate payable for delayed settlement of gratuity. Please advise on what is the interest payable and the how and whom to complain against the employer.

Serve a legal notice to Employer. You are eligible for simple interest rate on the amount of gratuity due.
