Implementation Of Vith Pay Commission For Lecturer Iin

I retired as a lecturer from an unaided engineering college, affiliated to Mumbai University on 30th September,2007, at the age of 60 years. College has implemented VI th pay commission scale in 2010. They have paid arrears to all employees ( salaries and allowances from 1/1/2006). I was getting salary and allowances upto retirement as per Vth pay commission. Can I get salary and allowances , as per VIth pay commission from 1/1/2006 to 30/9/2007?
