Dear Client, If your contract specifies a 3-month notice period without mentioning "working months" then generally, the entire notice period should be counted, including the month in which you submitted your resignation. This implies that your resignation in June should count as part of the notice period. If the model service rules mentioned in the publisher’s book are not part of your contractual agreement or have not been incorporated into your employment terms, they generally do not override your contract's specific provisions. Request a written explanation from the school regarding their reliance on the model service rules. Consult a lawyer if needed.
